As weird as that is, I enjoy it. So I’m going to do a little shameless advertising for my Etsy shop where I sell old shit. I’ve been doing this on and off since 2011.
Old books are my niche, especially if they are A) Sci-Fi or B) scientific. I am a fan of 1960’s Sci-Fi, my favorite book from that time being The Eight Keys To Eden by Mark Clifton. I have a copy, but I can’t let go of it.
First of all, you have to admire the cover art for these. Not only are they neat to look at and have on a shelf, they are actually eerily accurate in some parts about the future (which is now) that give you a weird feeling after reading them. That’s the best part, and it makes you think.
One I keep meaning to read is The Haunted Stars by Edmond Hamilton, I have it for sale in my shop.
I also have an entire collection of Peterson Field Guides from the 50’s and 60’s. Like this one. I have about 14 in total, and not all of them are listed yet.
Another thing I love, and I mean LOVE, are vintage mini Chanel perfume bottles. This little bottle is adorable. How can you not just love it, look at it! These all sold within a day or two of listing them a couple of years ago, but I am getting back to putting some more up for sale soon. I have a 20’s mini Chanel no. 22 on the way.
Check out my shop if you like these things. For more rare items I put them on my eBay, they are more pricey but get more exposure there here’s a link to that and my Etsy:
